Hey Y’all! If you’re anything like us you probably enjoy an escape from the every day to slip into nature. Separately, we are an animal loving, nature enthusiast with a passion for higher education and a scruffy mountain man, photo enthusiast who daylights in the mortgage industry. Together, we are a couple who enjoys getting up, getting out and enjoying this big beautiful world. Oh, and football. We may have full-time jobs but off the clock we are campers–hence the name.
If you hate mushy love stories feel free to skip this part…..Our story originally started all the way back in 2008 where we started dating back in high school (that’s right, high school sweethearts…barf). We even went to college together – MIZ! Long story short, we were together for 8 years so we decided to get married. In September of 2018 we made it official and the rest is history.
Now back to the good stuff! Our adventurous side started to really come out in 2015 when we made our first drive to Rocky Mountain National Park. While our friends were spending Spring Break partying on beaches, we were hiking in the Rockies. It was this trip that kick-started our passion for camping. I mean just look at the view!
Fast forward to now, we are taking our van and visiting as many national parks as possible (with a few other fun adventures along the way). I wish we could say “we will visit all of the national parks by this date” but if we are being honest, we are busy adults with full-time jobs. What we can commit to is taking every opportunity we are given to explore our natural world and document it along the way. We would love for you to come with us while we share our adventures and any tips we stumble upon.
